Onto more serious matters, this place is still alive.

As the title implies, this is just going to be a really brief summary of all things happening/upcoming/and what not as a way to keep everyone informed, and also really just for convenience sake to have it written down somewhere.

List:

- New site logo and also fixing up the gaijin mispelling of name from Gakuin to Gakuen. On that similar note, URL change as well to match.

-Over all clean up of pages and formatting (because no one likes what 2013 had to offer. Seriously. No one does)

-Gonna be looking over all them rulez yo. Then after that a re-review following removing everything from accepted then just throwing it back into pending. This is really more a formality since the rules shouldn't really stop /much/ from getting re-accepted, and as a way to just get the things from 2013 out of the bag.

-Going to /try/ to fiddle with the layout of the site as well so things look neater, mostly on the top bar with all the quick links and information. The same applies for the Front Page. And updating the staff portion. Because that's old asf. On that note, surprise! Lime's an admin now. He cleans stuff up, joining the rank of bitch secretary.

-That's about aaaalllll I can think of. Or at least remember.

So yeah. That's what up and what's happening.

One final note though, which I was saving for last since it's one of the more main purposes of this article.

-Get a Headmaster

Now what that means is, no, no one is making him /perse/, what that means is pretty much down below in the comments, all you commoner lot say what/who/how the headmaster should be and why. Then the most liked idea(s) will be used to form the formless being known as the Headmaster.

And take it seriously, no "make him a huge fetishist pervert because it'll be funny lol" or "make him a squid because no one expects a squid." Don't be /that guy/

Hey-ooooooooo. This is as the title says, an important news announcement for the site moving forward.

Essentially going to be listing off a few things, the primary one being official reviews for Species. Due to some complications I'm not going to get at right here specifically, some Species are still left unreviewed, and that will begin starting tomorrow. The ones that are claimed by Users, the user will be asked to fix the issues should there be any, and the one's left unclaimed I'll likely just fix myself.

Among the Species being reviewed and fixed include:

- Dragons

- Deities

- Angels

- Elementals

- Kitsune

While those are the main ones, all current Species will be looked over for consistency and understanding issues, mainly in regards to questions on History and Limits.

Aside from Species, they'll be an info-dump on pages regarding the World's Current State. Some bits of History, why it's so backwards and not as advanced as it should be given the current year of 2142, things like law-enforcement, medical standings, potentially political, minimal things such as commercial brands, The School itself needing touch-ups, Monsters and Animalistic Species, Special Locations, and so on. That and better highlighting of the rules.

Likely, I will also be making a Timeline Of Events regarding important OC's that have impacted the History of OG in some way, as well as planned events for the future.

Now with all that cleared, a few more things. There are some important roles that need filling up for grabs if any of you lot are interested. I wouldn't recommend jumping the gun and making the character for the roles though, as these do specifically need reviewing given their impact.

These roles include

- Disciplinary Committee Head for the Student Council

- Club Manager for the Student Council

Beside tose, we still need some teacher's yo. Here's a list of the roles. More on the side and less of a priorty includes prominent roles for Races, rather than the world. This include the:

- Chosen for the Aoquid, being prominent in their event later on down the line in the 3rd Year.

- Various Vampire's pertaining to the Families around the World.

Hi there! I'm going to attempt approaching the husbando wars slightly differently. In the Omega version, the participants are selected by nomination. You can nominate two characters, either two that do not belong to you, or nominate one character that does, alongside a character that does not.

For example; option 1: Blezione Chiktev and Daiki Katsu, or option two: Moceril Seidon and Helios Dahl

Preferably, give a short explanation of why you are nominating said characters!

Only accepted male characters are permitted, and a character cannot be nominated twice. Oros and Lust are not suitable candidates. If you'd like, you can just nominate one character. Happy nominating, let's elect a best husbando!

I will update the post with all the nominees, and host the first round later on after a week, from where a vote between some of the nominees will occur.

Attention fellow Osaka Gakuin members, we in the staff have found that an old member of the original staff, LizzieRose, still holds the powers and position (only by title) of bureacrat and founder of the wiki. She is no longer an active member and hasn't been since a few months after OG42 was founded. After some discussion amongst staff members and reviewing the steps on how to do so, we have decided to put this to a vote by the community as to the next course of action. So for your vote we ask you to make a decision regarding these questions:

Do you agree with removing the bureacrat rights and founder title from LIzzieRose due to her prolonged abscence from the wiki? A good note is that this has been tried before as an adoption request by Toasty, and the resulting action was Toasty given Bureacrat rights and ownership of the wiki.

If you do agree with the first action, would you be fine with Cat-Soup64, one of our current admins and one of our more active users, take the title of founder of the wiki? A note about the title is that it only signifies that he originally created wiki, and while this isn't entirely accurate it is a way of making sure we have property of the wiki should ownership come up.

As for the reason for this thread, this is part of a process to move the Founder title to a active member in power and be sure there are no members with powers who are not actually helping the wiki or haven't in months (for Lizzie this would be more than a year)

In the light of recent events, I have come to the conclusion that we as a community need to start prettifying this wiki. What do I mean? Very simple, for as I long as I have been on here I have noticed that lack of many things and many those things of which I will not name. However, I will list a few things: this wiki is missing structure, foundation, and overall active contributions to more than just someones personal pet project.

Let me elaborate, there are very many blatant flaws that should have been worked out forever ago, but due to lack of Admins aside form the few that we have (which have done the best they can with their limited manpower) the websites many glaring problems have gone unadressed until recently, but there is so much that has been added that their load is bogged down.

I am calling in the active community of Osaka Gakuin 42 to report to the Admins for pages to work on to lighten their load and address these issues. So if you are on this website and love coming here I suggest you pick up a page from the Admins to work on so we can get this website off its perch and soaring once more.

Hey there kiddy-winks. So, most of you are probs wondering what the BA is. It's short for Bygone 'Ayum. Those friendly bunch. So, there's Three Generals that lead the Bygone, right under the second in command and leader. The leader is in the works, second-in-command is made, and there are currently two generals in the works.

So, pretty much, that leaves ooooonnnnne more spot open, which you lot are now allowed to compete for. Pretty much, ya'll can make a character meant for the organization as the one General spot left. Be wary though, only one character can be accepted for the spot, and the voting will be between myself, Crimmsonblade, and Sebi99cl. Or in other words, the organization creator, and the two other general holders.

Pretty much, have a Plan B for your character should they not get picked for the General spot, because it's not a given they'll be picked.

Another important note, is this page as reference, speficially the bottom portion with Antagonists. Generals are allowed a ranking of Commander at max. As for questions on ranking for the Antagonist roles, here they are . Any questions, then post them on Crimm's wall. Post any character submission ideas you have here. That'll be all now.

What up fools. Here with another patch list, much like the previous one, as once again, in the past 2 to 3 weeks, Osaka Gakuin has gained more things for you, the user, to use. I despise stalling, so cutting right to the chase.

Changes:

Species - Psychics were long time added to the list as playable. Androids have been added as playable. Homunculi have been added as playable. The Fae have been added as playable. Angels sligtly reworked. More rework coming in the future for those, as well as wth demons.

Lore - Android and Homunculi lore was added. Lore for the Fae was added. Lore for the Afterlife was made.

Balancing - More Don'ts have been added to the Original Character Creation Guide, specifically, on the topic of extreme temperatures.

Creation - The creation of antagonist for normal users is now allowed! However, as of currently, this is being limited to the Urban Myths available for the Urban Myth Mini-Arc . 

Overall, much has been made, with yet more to come. So please stay tuned for the coming updates!

Greetings, people. So, this is the announcment of a Mini-Arc that will take place somewhere else down the line the story events of Osaka Gakuin. This Arc requires the cooperation of you, the users, to make happen. To put it simply, let me describe the Arc.

After the Defeat of another enemy, the Genie Jinn Raja, his Realtiy-Altering magic still lingers over the town of Osaka and its residents, bringing local Urban Myths to life that now plague the town...

So, what this means for you users is that, you're allowed to make /one/ Urban Myth that acts like an Antagonist for the Students of Osaka Gakuin. To assist you, rules have been made to help create antagonists for arc. They are on the bottom of the page, and should be reffered to when making your Urban Myth Antagonist. However, remember, you are all being limtied to /one/ antagoist per person.

It should be further noted, as this is importat, that the max tier Antagonists we are accepting as well include Commander, nothing higher than that. We /may/ however accept /one/ Dragon Antagoist, though, this is unlikely, and as said earlier, will only be limited to one.

Given the nature of the arc, you are all free to make your own Urban Myths for the time to come to life, being Myths that linger around the town or Myths that linger aroud in the School. This will be the first time marked where Antagonists are being made by you, the users, and not the Admins that run the site. So remember, be creative, follow the rules, and have fun!

Please note, the Arc may not happen for awhile, so your Urban Myth Antagonist may not be encountered for awhile as well. The Arc is planned to happen, and will happen, so don't worry. If your Urban Myth Antagoist is accepted, they will be encountered at some point by some students to be dealt with.

If you want to submit an Urbany Myth, then just give them the category of "Antagonist" and "Urban Myth."

Pretty much as the title says. We need more trouble-makers and the like yo. Represeeeeeeeeeeent.

I already have two OC's my self that woud be a part of it, or kinda 3. Just put in the comments if you have an idea and I'll look it over.

The only classification for it would be if they'd be willing to even "join" a gang, and if they can be called a Delinquent. You know, by definition. Difference between a trickster and a delinquent. Unless they're both. Before any of that though, each member needs to get through "initiation."

Anyway, you all get the point.

Over the past two to three weeks that OG42 has been livening up and gaining new members, we have been making updates to key parts of wiki, such as the species list, lores involved in some species and powers, and as well as some balancing. So this is like a patch list, so you can see what all's been changed. 

OG42 Changes:

Species- Kitsune were reviewed and accepted as a playable species, Sunaos were renamed Maji and had their powers reworked, Possesive Spirits were renamed Guardian Spirits and reworked, Vampires were reworked, demons were reworked slightly, and Ghosts were reviewed and added as a playable species.

Lore- Kitsune page was created and lore was integrated, Vampire lore was added, Ghost lore was added. Demon heirarchy was added.

Balancing- The number of magic types a character can have has been limited to 3. More specifics may be later added depending on admin and reviewer vote.

Overal, a good patch list for a 6 to 8 month wikia hiatus. Also the wikia turned 2 years old three days ago and we surpassed 100 pages!

BEHOLD! You are reading a blog post from the wiki, which means something has welled up inside our Creators mind and now we will be sparking new Life into this place! That's right, we're starting back up from a dieing hiatus, which means for all users, get to Rp'ing and creating characters. Any Staff who read this get their butts in gear and start trying to make time for here. 

Within a few days or maybe a week, I want this place to be as bustling as it was when we started and hopefully be back on the rise. So, anyone with rp's still going on, start them back up. Got a character in pending? hopefully it'll be reviewed soon, and you to....can start rp'ing. Hopefully the chat becomes kinda popular too, so people can chat with us admins and reviewers and stuff.

SO, in conclusion. Let's get this place back on the rise, so like our buddy (or future buddy, however you wanna see it) Barkley, we can rise from the ashes of hiatus and have a blast roleplaying in our magitech style school with all our demon buddies and stuff.

And with all of our efforts, we admins havn't been able to turn up anything worth mentioning in the way of new arrivals, so i am going to go out on a limb and ask you, our users, to try and bring new life into the fold.

1. Spread the word

Simply go and tell your freinds about us, whether they like original universes, anime, both, or neither, we need more people to know about us

2. Direct Recruitment

THis can involve any number of things, whether it's making the wiki your friends home page, badgering them for a week until the give in and join or, tying them down and brainwashing them into thinking this place is the best thing since sex (Only slightly kidding on that one). if you get us a new member you get a virtual cookie.

3. Paper the town

THis one is kind of poorly named, but what ever. Spam the linkto us on your face book. Or your twitter, or instagram or what ever stupid social media that has abosrbed the better part of your ability to actually BE social. Just make sure people are seeing us.

The General purpose for this new post is just what is said. We need more members. basically we have about 18 users floating around, and we admins don't really think that's enough to get our actual story RPs jumping off right. So basically, if you guys actually care and want the place to be alive and vibrant, then you'r gonna have to grow our numbers.

Sorry to impose an imperitive like this, but i don;t wanna see our precious little kawaii anime cactus whither and die and everything i have tried alone has gotten no results, so maybe we just need to do it more.

Ok, SO.... THis is kind of overdue, but here we go.

The few of you guys who have come here and enjoyed our universe and roleplaying in it may have noticed that there has been a kind of.... Dispersion with the Admins. Here's the basic idea of whats been going down.

So, when we opened the wiki, we were still down a couple of provisions, which weren't ompletely necessary to operate, but it;s gotten to a point tha we NEED to fix it. We as Admins, cannot for some reason, creat a user group that would designate the Reveiwers here on OG#42. Our Only way to have things like that change was to go through our Crat LizzieRose. It has been several months since we have been able to contact her, and as thus, we have decided to have our Resident Creator CaptainMcToasty adopt the wiki so that either he can handle issue like this himself or give the admins the power to do so themselves.

So, the point of this Announcement... Or blog or what have you, is to take a poll, of how many of our loved and loyal users would be in favor of CaptianMcToasty stepping up as a Crat. We kind of need SOME WAY to change and control user groups as we see fit, and it is now, we don't really have that ability, which is why we have decided to tray and have Captain become a Crat.

Well long story short, leave a comment below (Please don't just ignore this guys, this will help the Wiki grow and move forward as a community, don't you guys want that?) stating your position on whether or not Captain should become a Crat or not.
